Birmingham Judo Club
Beeches Martial Arts is a Judo club is Birmingham, based at the Reaside Community Centre in Frankley.
We offer Judo classes catering for everyone,
from absolute beginners to high level black belt experts. If you want to
learn a new skill, develop your martial art skills, learn an effective
self defence method or just want to increase your self confidence, come
along and join in the Beeches Martial Arts Club.
Judo, which means "The Gentle Way", was founded in 1882 by Jigoro Kano who was a Jujitsu master and specialised in the throwing and immobilisation techniques. The martial art is known for its spectacular throwing techniques but also includes numerous techniques for controlling an opponent while on the ground. Judo is the most widely practiced martial art in the world, and is the second most practiced sport worldwide (Football is no1).
Judo Training
Our Judo school caters for all ages of men, women and children are welcome and we offer Judo training and classes for all levels of fitness. There are no strangers at our club... Only Friends We Have Not Met Yet!
